Google announced on Wednesday that users would be able to sign up to Vonage as an alternate login for its Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, and Google Docs services, in addition to Google Drive and Google Play.
Google has been testing this feature since October, and the company said that it would roll it out to other Google services, including Gmail, Google Play, Google Maps, and Gmail accounts.
“Google has partnered with several companies to offer users a choice to switch between alternative login options on Google services.
This feature will work for any of these accounts,” a Google spokesperson told me.
“We have been working closely with these companies to provide users with the choice to migrate their Google accounts to Vonaged, which will give them access to these services and much more.”
Vonage will allow users to switch their Google account from the Google account to a new one, Google said.
Google said that switching accounts will be automatically synchronized to all other Google accounts, and that the process will take less than 30 seconds.
Users will have to change their password for all of their Google services to be able switch to Vonages.
The Google spokesperson didn’t provide a reason for why users would have to switch accounts to switch to the new Vonage, but Google said it was working on a way to make the switch seamless.
“When users switch to a Vonaged account, the service will be synchronized to Google accounts on their mobile devices.
This will mean that they will see a seamless transition of their account across multiple devices, which should help make switching seamless,” the spokesperson said.
Google’s move to roll this feature out has been applauded by security experts.
“This is a big step forward for Vonage.
With the advent of this new method of switching, Google will allow many users to seamlessly switch between the Google accounts and other accounts without having to change any of their passwords,” Dan Matson, a security researcher with Kryptomark, told Ars Technica.
“I think this will be a great benefit for those who want to use Vonage for their Google Business, Google Calendar, and other Google products.
It’s also a good step in the right direction to get users switching to Vonaging, and we’re looking forward to see how this works for other Google Business accounts, such as Google Drive.”
The move to make switching to the Vonage seamless is welcome news for many, but security experts are concerned about its potential impact.
“As a security consultant, I think it’s a big mistake,” Matt Blaze, chief security strategist for the Center for Internet and Society, told me in a phone interview.
“Vonages are a very easy way for an attacker to compromise a Google account, and if a hacker could steal a user’s credentials to a Google Business account, then it would be very easy for them to access any of the other accounts in the organization.”
Blaze said that the new switch will make it more difficult for the hackers to compromise accounts.
“The change in switching is a very big security risk,” he said.
“Once the switch is activated, it will be hard for the hacker to access the accounts with their new Google credentials.
Once the hacker gets access to the account, it becomes a lot more difficult to gain access to other accounts with that Google account.”
Blaz said that he believes that users will not be able take advantage of the switch unless they have a valid Google Business ID.
He also noted that the switch will not work for accounts with multiple Google Business IDs, such a Google Account, Google Business Enterprise ID, or Google Business Business Account.
“With this switch, users will need to change one Google Business Account to a different one, which is much more difficult, and will result in a much higher probability of losing a user,” Blaze said.

Google says that it has partnered to offer this service for other services.
